About Me

I just turned 50 years old in 2020, so I am a late bloomer in the writing industry with most of my years spent developing stories in my head. I did not have the guts to write them down until my early thirties. I had loved reading from the time I was old enough to do so but did not become a writer until later in life. I first started to love writing when I was reading to my young daughter from the time she was born in 2000. I also started writing to her while I was pregnant. Through this, I found I wanted to write something of my own.

Although I am not published yet, I have spent the better part of the last two years writing a young adult novel. I am extremely proud of this one as it relates to a particularly difficult time in my life. I look forward to finding the right agent to help me navigate the business of writing professionally and assisting to publish my contemporary Young Adult novels.
